But what does Groz-Beckert offer as an employer?

Textile freedom – the delights of precision

Numerous production plants, sales subsidiaries and agencies allow Groz-Beckert  to be present in more than 150 countries worldwide. The transfer of know-how, exchanges about experiences and foreign assignments all open up the world of textiles to the company's employees.

The Groz-Beckert Portfolio also represents freedom and diverse possibilities. Round about 70.000 product types as well as systems and services are offered, along the full length of the textile value chain. They make an indispensable contribution to the production of clothing, home and domestic textiles, as well as in surprising applications such as mobility, medical technology and architecture – because high-tech fabrics, fibers and yarns play an important role in these sectors. The opportunities and areas of application for employees are almost limitless. Whether you are working in needle technology, mechanical engineering, development, sales or controlling: creativity and initiative are encouraged, with a cosmopolitan attitude to life and a willingness to deliver top performance. Flexible worktime models are also possible.

Sustainable action – shared responsibility

Responsibility toward employees and society as a whole has traditionally been important at Groz-Beckert. One example of this is the company's own health scheme BKK Groz-Beckert, which dates back to the year 1888. In 2013 a new and generously-sized Health and Education Center (GEBIZ) is due to be built at the company headquarters in Albstadt – and will include a daycare center, a kindergarten and an elementary school, as well as a health and wellness area for all the company's employees. Furthermore, Groz-Beckert is consistently investing in further training, offering workshops, training courses and trainee programs. The Groz-Beckert Foundation aims  to find  and encourage talent.

Sustainability naturally includes the environment. A central priority at Groz-Beckert, therefore, is to contribute to emission reductions with its products. In 2010 and 2011 the company received several important environmental prizes for this – so anyone who works at Groz-Beckert can do so with a clear conscience.

Safely into the future – transcending technological borders

Approximately 8,000 employees worldwide and a successful history in the textile industry since 1852 have provided the company with an established corporate base which remains unaffected by fluctuations in the world's dynamic textile markets. This security, and traditional values such as professionalism and a partnership-based approach, are highly motivating. The logical consequence: a low rate of employee fluctuation that is quite exemplary, and a high degree of loyalty on all levels.

In this way, Groz-Beckert guarantees continuity and long-term relations with its employees.
