Groz-Beckert at ANEX 2018
Albstadt, Germany/Tokyo, Japan: From 6 to 8 June 2018, the ANEX will be held at the Tokyo Big Sight exhibition site. With more than 30,000 visitors expected, this trade fair is one of the three largest nonwovens trade fairs in the world. Over 700 companies will be presenting their product innovations – including Groz-Beckert for the first time. The leading worldwide supplier of industrial machine needles will be represented at the ANEX with its extensive product portfolio from the Felting and Carding fields in hall 1, booth 330.
With the Felting product sector, the company will be putting its contribution to the spun lace industry on display, among other things. With the HyTec® P-jet strip, Groz-Beckert will present its latest product for hydroentanglement for mechanical bonding of nonwovens, which is used, among other things, for manufacturing products for the hygiene and medical field. As well as improved handling properties, the innovative jet strips also feature significantly higher hardness, which has a positive effect on all mechanical properties such as scratch resistance, bending strength and service life.
Groz-Beckert will also be focusing on special needle solutions for a good surface quality in pre-needling The GEBECON® felting needle is characterised by a higher stability compared with a conventional standard felting needle – combined with good needle elasticity. Groz-Beckert will demonstrate these and more advantages on the head-high needle model at the company's trade fair booth.
In the Carding field, the focus will be on the aspects of increasing performance and saving raw materials: The high-performance worker and doffer wires SiroLock® and EvoStep® will be on show. A unique exhibit with 3D models brings the special card clothing series to life for visitors to the Groz-Beckert booth. Thanks to an improved fiber control, EvoStep® card clothings distribute the fibers more uniformly in the web and effectively help to achieve the nonwoven properties. This reduces the raw material consumption to a minimum. The improved fiber control also enables lower-cost raw materials to be used, which could not be processed with conventional card clothings. SiroLock® also offers options for saving on raw material – mainly through the more uniform web quality. The main advantage, however, is the increased performance made possible through higher delivery speeds and web weights. The fiber-friendly surface of the card clothing opens up a wide range of application options with all fibers and fiber blends for different web weights. In addition to the higher performance without fiber fly, SiroLock® also guarantees better blending of the fibers.
