How we define sustainability
Our Albstadt location has been certified to the environmental standard DIN EN ISO 14001 since the year 2000. By the integration of the occupational and health safety into our management system, we have been certified to the standard BS OHSAS 18001 since 2008. As we committed ourselves to exceed the statutory minimum standards, we decided to extend our EHS Management System by the areas risk management and company safety and created ARGUS.

Our sustainability principles
In the Groz-Beckert Group, acceptance of ecological, economic and social responsibility goes hand in hand with profitable growth. This is why we have made a commitment to the principle of sustainability at every one of our locations. The defined sustainability principles we abide by help us to set standards for our performance in the fields of occupational health and safety as well as environmental protection.

Groz-Beckert management
We have made it our aim to analyse and assess the qualitative, social and ecological impact of our products, technologies and processes right from the design and development stage, to formulate plans of action and monitor our progress above and beyond the minimum standards set out by the law, and to communicate the results of this activity to the relevant interest groups.
