Sustainable Action – Comprehensive Commitment

Values firmly anchored and integrated within the company, a carefully considered corporate philosophy, awareness of responsibility toward employees, society and the environment – that is how Groz-Beckert interprets economic, ecological and social sustainability. The company was active in these sectors long before corporate social responsibility (CSR) became fashionable.

The company's own health insurance fund BKK Groz-Beckert, which has been in existence since 1888 as one of the first of its kind, the Groz-Beckert Foundation and also the Health and Education Center (GEBIZ) are just a few of the most obvious examples.

Declaration of principle on our corporate policy

Groz-Beckert is the world-wide leading provider of industrial machine needles, precision parts, systems, and services for the production and joining of textile fabrics.

Our aim is to provide an optimum benefit to our customers and partners at all times. The same applies to our employees, the society and the environment. The Groz-Beckert corporate values – correctness, quality consciousness, fairness, innovation – determine our actions.

The products and service offered by Groz-Beckert, inside and outside our organization, should be customer-oriented and reliable. Maintaining an edge on our competitors is part of our quality principles and, therefore, represents an important element of our corporate strategy.

In all areas of our company we go by the principle:

Quality is concurrence between agreement and implementation

The systematic compliance with this principle is supported by our integrated Management System, covering the following areas:

  • Quality
  • Occupational Safety
  • Risk Management
  • Health Promotion
  • Environmental Protection
  • Security and Know-How Protection
  • Energy Efficiency

This way, our Management System provides the basis for a uniform acting across the Group as well as for a continuous improvement process (CIP) within the Company.

By this declaration and the corporate principles, the Management commits itself and all employees of the Groz-Beckert Group to go by the valid rules and regulations. The compliance is subject to internal and external audits across the Group.
