With the digital whistleblowing system "tell us", Groz-Beckert offers you the opportunity to address reports digitally, either anonymously or by voluntarily providing personal data (name, telephone number, e-mail address). Groz-Beckert uses "whistleOps by 2B Advice" for this purpose.

The data is stored on servers in a high-security data center in Germany. Personal data entered into the whistleblower system is stored in a database operated by 2B Advice. The data is encrypted, password-protected and stored in a secure location so that access to the content of the electronically stored data is restricted to a narrow circle of authorized persons at Groz-Beckert. As long as you do not enter any data yourself that allows conclusions to be drawn about your person, the whistleblower system is designed to automatically protect your anonymity by means of a certified procedure that is secured by comprehensive technical and organizational measures.

      2.7 Video surveillance

We use video surveillance systems for the following purposes: protection of property rights, prevention of criminal acts such as burglary, damage to property or vandalism, prevention of access by unauthorized persons, protection of employees, customers or other persons present from damage or theft.

The recordings generally are deleted within 72 hours if they are no longer necessary to achieve the aforementioned purposes or if interests worthy of protection of the persons concerned conflict with further storage. If video recordings are stored as evidence for criminal and/or civil legal matters, they will be deleted at the later of the expiration of the applicable statute of limitations or until resolution of the legal matter.

We process your data if this is necessary for the preparation, conclusion and performance of a contract with you. We process your data in order to be able to fulfill our contracts. The following information is processed as part of the contract processing: your name, your Company‘s name (if applicable), shipping address, billing address and contact person, customer or supplier number, requested or ordered products.

Details on the respective purposes of data processing can be found in the contract documents and our General Terms and Conditions.

Unless a longer period is required by applicable law, the data is retained during the business relationship and for the statute of limitations period on a claim under the contract. If a dispute arises in connection with the contract, the data is retained until the dispute is resolved.

Please note that Groz-Beckert does not collect or process credit card or debit card information on this website. When a visitor pays for goods (for example in the webshop), the visitor is sent to Groz-Beckert’s payment provider’s site to enter the payment information.

The data is processed in order to track and clarify the process and to be able to carry out an appropriate resolution. It also helps us fulfill contracts and protect our interests.

Unless a longer period is required by applicable law, the personal data will be stored for 2 years from the end of the processing of the complaint and for the statute of limitations period on a claim under the contract.
