Unique card clothing for demanding applications

High-performance worker and doffer wire for boosting output and saving raw material – Groz-Beckert is presenting SiroLock® and EvoStep® card clothing at the Techtextil 2017.

Carding, the latest subdivision at Groz-Beckert, is represented in 2017 for the first time with an acrylic roller card at the Techtextil. It is equipped with the latest metallic card clothing for the nonwovens industry, which includes special worker and doffer wires from Groz-Beckert. The acrylic card provides you with one-of-a-kind insight into the principle of operations of Groz-Beckert products.

EvoStep®

EvoStep® card clothing is distinguished by a unique slanted step undercut on the tooth front. In this cut the working angle is significantly more pronounced than in conventional worker and doffer wires.

Compared to SiroLock® card clothing, which aims for high speed cards, the focus of EvoStep® card clothing is to reduce raw material consumption. Thanks to the revolutionary undercut, fiber take-up and retention are up to 30% higher than in conventional card clothing.

EvoStep® card clothing is used primarily in nonwovens lines with crosslappers and subsequent needling.

SiroLock®

SiroLock® is metallic card clothing with a pronounced step below the tip of the tooth. It provides for higher fiber take-up and improved adherence of fibers to the card clothing. SiroLock® is used primarily in high-speed lines for hydroentanglement and thermal bonding.

Here the emphasis is on improving the performance of the card via high delivery rates and nonwoven weights.
