Albstadt, Germany/New Delhi, India: The Garment Technology Expo (GTE) is due to be held from February 28 to March 3, 2015 in New Delhi (India). The GTE is regarded as India’s biggest exhibition for apparel and knitting technology. The focus is on machines for clothing manufacture, accessories and services as well as the latest development, but also live presentations and technical seminars are part of the event. Groz-Beckert presents its highlights all around sewing machine needles at booth A-6.

The central topic of Groz-Beckert at the trade fair is SEWING5. This term refers to the company's comprehensive service plan by which it supports the sewing industry in mastering the challenges in the market – here not only the outstanding product quality and ever more elaborate designs are requested, but also sustainable productivity and efficiency increases play a significant role. The five S of SEWING5 stand for Supply, Solutions, Service, Superiority, and Sustainability. “Superiority“, for example, in the view of Groz-Beckert, comprises certified top quality, specialist products, and the application of modern technology.

When it comes to quality, even the product packaging can make a real difference. The Groz-Beckert packaging enables needles to be transported and stored securely. As an additional service for customers the packaging label also bears a data matrix code that serves to verify its original product status. The tool needed for this, the newly developed “label scanner”, is available worldwide as part of the the “myGrozBeckert“ app. This app is availabe for Android and iOS and can be downloaded for free on the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
