Deerlijk, Belgium / Albstadt, Germany: Following the completion of the formal information and consultation process, Groz-Beckert has decided to close its Groz-Beckert Carding Belgium (GBCB) production site in Deerlijk, Belgium, by the end of 2026. The social partners have agreed to initiate the next steps required to implement the closure in accordance with the applicable legal requirements.

Audited 2025 Financial Statements: Groz-Beckert Group’s turnover amount to 799 million euros

Albstadt: The Groz-Beckert Group’s financial statements for 2025 show consolidated turnover of 799 million euros, thereby confirming the preliminary figures published in February. Compared to 2024, turnover fell by 40 million euros, or about 5 percent. As of the end of 2025, Groz-Beckert employed 8,823 people worldwide (previous year: 9,419), including 1,995 at its headquarters in Albstadt (previous year: 2,194).
Groz-Beckert announces intention to close its production location in Deerlijk

Groz-Beckert Donates a Total of 2,000 Euros to Two Support Associations of the Zollernalb Clinic

Albstadt: On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the Youth and Apprentice Representative Committee of Groz-Beckert, on behalf of all employees, presented a donation of 1,000 euros each to the support associations “ZoKli Kinderhelden e. V.” and “Palliativ umsorgt im ZoKli e. V.” at the Zollernalb Clinic. The donation was raised through a bake sale.
Preliminary 2025 Financial Statements: Groz-Beckert Group’s turnover declines again

According to the preliminary 2025 financial statements, the turnover of the Groz-Beckert Group declined by 40 million euros (–5 percent). It thus fell from 839 million euros in 2024 to 799 million euros in 2025.
As of December 31, 2025, the Group employed 8,823 people worldwide (previous year: 9,419). This represents a total decrease in the workforce of 596 employees. At the headquarters in Albstadt, 1,995 people were employed—199 fewer than in the previous year (previous year: 2,194).
Graduation Ceremony: 29 Winter Graduates Complete Their Apprenticeships or Studies

Albstadt: On Wednesday, February 11, 2026, Groz-Beckert officially bid farewell to 29 apprentices and students as they completed their training programs. Three young people completed their apprenticeships with honors.
Groz-Beckert Takes on Five Apprentices from Mayer & Cie.

Albstadt: Following the bankruptcy of Mayer & Cie. GmbH in Albstadt, Groz-Beckert has taken on five apprentices from the long-established textile machinery manufacturer. In addition to Groz-Beckert, eight other companies in the region are taking on apprentices from Mayer & Cie. This has made it possible for all former apprentices of Mayer & Cie. to continue their training.
