Groz-Beckert at VDMA Symposium – German Technology meets Indian Textiles

Mumbai/Coimbatore/Albstadt: On 3 and 5 December 2013 the symposium “German technology meets Indian textiles“ will be held in Mumbai and Coimbatore, organized by the German VDMA Textile Machinery Association. 14 well-known textile machinery builders and accessory manufacturers from Germany will take part and present innovative technologies. Visitors can attend the presentations as well as participate in the B2B Matchmaking dialogue. Groz-Beckert will be present at both symposia and give information about “Increasing the productivity of circular knitting machines”.

The focus of the conference will be on new products, improved quality of fabrics and enhanced competitiveness. The speakers will present practice-oriented technology topics related to textile fabric production. Major application areas will cover garments, home textiles and technical textiles. Furthermore, sustainability, life-cycle costs, certification and labeling as well as export finance will complete the program.

As a representative of Groz-Beckert Mr. Roland Simmendinger, Senior Area Manager Sales & Technical Applications, will give a lecture on “Increasing the productivity of circular knitting machines”.

“Groz-Beckerts objective is to create the awareness that it’s necessary to increase productivity in future. The symposium offers a good platform to forward this message and provide cooperation with Groz-Beckert, that is being a partner for Research and Development and for technical consultation,” says Mr. Simmendinger. Since July 2010, with the Technology and Development Center (TEZ) the company has possessed a future oriented platform for shaping the textile future together with customers and partners. Groz-Beckert contributes to the success of the knitting industry by supporting it to provide best product quality as well as high-quality solutions and systems. The company will highlight products and innovations that help to increase the productivity of the existing machine park. Investments in good machines pay off when high-quality spare parts are used to run machines with highest possible efficiency and productivity.
