Albstadt, Germany/Istanbul, Turkey: On 1 April 2016 Groz-Beckert will open a competence center for sewing and joining services at the premises of their sales affiliate in Istanbul. With the well-equipped sewing laboratory in Turkey Groz-Beckert will provide another service for a quick solution of application problems on site.

The founding of a Groz-Beckert sales affiliate in Istanbul, Turkey in January 2015 met with the requirements of the customers in the Turkish and Central Asian markets for a direct local presence of the company. As the textile markets in this region are further gaining importance, with the introduction of sewing and joining services follows the second step – the sewing laboratory.

With a variety of sewing and joining services the sewing laboratory will provide the customers of the region with quick solutions for application problems. The well-equipped laboratory will offer expert support and advice before, during and after the sewing process. The service will include the elaboration of problem solutions by application engineers, advice for the selection of the right needle and thread, analysis of sewing problems and their removal as well as the search for alternative joining methods.

The installation of the sewing laboratory at the sales office in Turkey will create another platform for customers from the South East European and Central Asian textile markets.
