From the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series and the SiroLock® plus worker and doffer wire for the nonwovens industry, right through to the new and further developed cylinder and doffer wires, as well as stationary flats and revolving tops for the spinning industry – there is a wide range of innovations.

Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series

Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series InLine stands for the established standards at Groz-Beckert – starting with identifying customer requirements and the commitment to the environment, right through to the Groz-Beckert understanding of quality. Thanks to a new and patented production method, Groz-Beckert has developed a new range of metallic card clothing, which offers customers improved process reliability and increased up-time of their carding lines. The new production method also reflects the corporate principles of environmentally-friendly and resource-saving production

The Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing is characterized by the following properties:

  1. Controlled and extremely precise hardening of the card clothing teeth
  2. Completely scale-free metallic card clothing without burrs – thanks to the patented production method
  3. Reduction in the rib height of interlocked metallic card clothing to 1.3 mm while retaining the same physical properties of the card clothing

This results in the following benefits for the customer:

  1. Longer lifetime of the metallic card clothing: The improved stability of the carding teeth reduces the risk of the teeth bending, resulting in the need for premature replacement.
  2. Consistent carding and high web quality: The process-reliable hardening of the teeth results in a more even abrasion of the card clothing.
  3. Significantly reduced run-in phase of the card clothing: The card clothing without burrs is extremely fiber-friendly and does not change their character in the run-in phase thanks to the burr-free surface. This can take up to several weeks with conventional card clothing.
  4. Improved safety during the mounting process: The lower the rib height, the safer the mounting process.

SiroLock® plus

As the successor type to the proven SiroLock® card clothing, the SiroLock® plus-worker and doffer wire is based on customer experiences on the one hand and on the new, protected production process of the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing series on the other.

The comprehensive and application-oriented portfolio of the SiroLock® plus card clothing reflects the characteristics of the Groz-Beckert InLine card clothing: a reduced rib height of the interlock card clothing with a completely burr-free surface and in particular a higher strength of delicate card clothing teeth. The special tooth geometry results in a gentle and more efficient fiber take-up, control and transfer – with even the highest throughputs.

The patented Groz-Beckert production process enables the manufacture of extremely fine, resistant card clothing geometries. The result is an optimal SiroLock® plus product range, which enables refined specifications for every customer application.

New cylinder card clothing with special geometry

The further developed cylinder wire impresses with its special and patented tooth geometry, which has a significant positive effect on the maintenance requirements. The cylinder card clothing also impresses with improved neps reduction and trash removal. The special tooth geometry of the C20-40-95-CMF also achieved positive results in terms of service life in customer trials: This was increased significantly compared to the standard cylinder card clothing. This makes it particularly well suited for quality-oriented cotton spinning companies that produce high quality yarns.

The cylinder wire C20-40-95-CMF has been presented for the first time at the Groz-Beckert booth at ITMA in Barcelona, Spain and is currently available in Duratech and Ultra steel grades.

Revolving top TV56

The new revolving top with new setting pattern and 560 points per square inch is particularly easy to clean. It offers high resistance, which increases the production output potential of the revolving flat card. The revolving top TV56 is particularly well suited for cotton applications and blends with yarn counts between Ne20 and Ne45.

New stationary flat series

The new stationary flat series with innovative tooth geometry and a new tooth distribution enables controlled opening of the fiber tufts in the revolving flat card. The new stationary flat series also has a more resistant surface, which provides protection from damage due to incorrect handling.

The controlled fiber opening relieves the stress on the revolving flat and has a positive effect on its service life.

The stationary flats are available in a wide range of densities: from 88 and 160, to 270, 330 and 440 up to 550 and 660 PPSI.

Doffer wire D40-30-31ES CBF

The patented tooth shape of the doffer wire D40-30-31ES CBF enables a significantly higher fiber transfer and improved fiber control. This means that higher performance levels can be achieved, particularly with fibers with a dull finish. The special surface treatment CBF (Clean Bright Finish) also enables a high efficiency of the revolving flat card to be achieved due to the reduced cleaning requirements.
