Groz-Beckert Donates a Total of 2,000 Euros to Two Support Associations of the Zollernalb Clinic

Albstadt: On Tuesday, March 24, 2026, the Youth and Apprentice Representative Committee of Groz-Beckert, on behalf of all employees, presented a donation of 1,000 euros each to the support associations “ZoKli Kinderhelden e. V.” and “Palliativ umsorgt im ZoKli e. V.” at the Zollernalb Clinic. The donation was raised through a bake sale.

In December 2025, the funds were raised during an “Advent Magic” event organized by the the Youth and Apprentice Representative Committee of Groz-Beckert, where punch, cakes, and waffles were sold. Employees supported the event by donating numerous baked goods, while the trainees organized and ran the sale. As is customary, management subsequently matched the proceeds. This brought the total donation to 2,000 euros, half of which was given to each of the two support associations of the Zollernalb Clinic.

Part of the donation went to the “Palliativ umsorgt im ZoKli e. V.” support association, which supports the clinic’s palliative care unit. The funds will be used, among other things, for special programs such as aromatherapy, music and art therapy, creating a home-like atmosphere on the ward, as well as continuing education and support for family members. The donation provides the flexibility to offer services that benefit patients individually and would otherwise be unaffordable.

The second donation check was presented to the “ZoKli Kinderhelden e. V.” support association. This organization supports the children’s hospital, which opened in March 2024 and fills an important gap in healthcare services in the region. The donation helps provide child-friendly facilities and implement projects that offer young patients joy, distraction, and positive experiences during their hospital stay.
