To provide further new impetus, the TEZ experts also communicate their specialized know-how at international congresses and symposia.
„In the production of nonwovens, how can the perfect interaction of needle and fiber result in material savings?" At the 51st Man-Made Fibers Congress, held from September 19-21 in Dornbirn, Austria, the head of the TEZ, Dr. Stefan Zamel, went into this question in detail.

"Marlene" is the environmentally-friendly alternative to cotton

Just an image For over 60 years now, the company of Mattes & Ammann GmbH & Co. KG has been highly successful as a manufacturer in the piece goods, large diameter circular knitting, circular knitting and tricot sectors. It has also had a successful partnership with Groz-Beckert for many decades in everything related to knitting-machine needles, all the way to the patents. The two companies are connected by a great deal more, however: the mission to discover sustainable solutions in the textile world.

A current example of this will be bearing fruit in 2013: together with partners, Mattes & Ammann has discovered an economical alternative to cotton – in the shape of the nettle „Marlene".

"PremioBox" – the new packaging solution for fine-gauge needles

In the future, for almost all knitting-machine needles with pressings of 0.18 – 0.34 mm, Groz-Beckert will be providing innovative needle packaging. Just an image Profitability, sustainability and improved material characteristics – SMARTTUFT® is becoming the new standard for subcompact and compact car segments in the automotive industry. The innovative floor covering was developed by Intier Automotive Eybl. The company is a part of the internationally active automotive supplier Magna.
